Jade Kwan's SHiNE Gospel Charity Concert Successfully Concludes The Light of Charity Never Ceases

POP's Foundation extends gratitude to all sponsors and ticket holders for their support. The "Jade Kwan SHiNE Gospel Charity Concert" held on November 4th and 5th at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City was a tremendous success, with both shows being completely sold out. Many attendees, deeply moved by Saturday's performance, expressed a desire to purchase tickets for the following day, only to find that all tickets had been sold out due to overwhelming demand. The Foundation sincerely apologizes to those who could not secure tickets and promises to organize future charity events to allow more people to participate in philanthropy.

Media friends who participated in this concert expressed, "We have reported on many concerts in the past, but this concert was truly immersive and professional, far exceeding expectations." Many touched and teary-eyed audience members shared, "The atmosphere at the venue was very moving, and Jade herself was incredibly sincere. Her life story is so touching, and we hope she can return to the Bay Area for another performance in the future." With two charity concerts, sponsorships from businesses, and generous donations from individuals, a total of $200,000 was raised. The proceeds will be allocated to provide resources for the "Prince of Peace Children's Home," assisting more disabled orphans in need and giving these children the opportunity to embark on a new life.

Heartfelt singer Jade Kwan expressed, "Willingness to engage in charity is already not easy; organizing a charity concert is even more challenging, and it holds extraordinary significance. The theme of this concert is 'SHiNE,' symbolizing the illumination of everyone's deepest heart desires. Through song, we aim to encourage everyone to step out of the gloom of the pandemic, inspiring more people to join hands in charity and philanthropy, assisting those in need." Jade further pledged to continue supporting the efforts of the "Prince of Peace Children's Home."

POP's Foundation and the Prince of Peace Children's Home

Mr. Kenneth Yeung, founder of the POP's Foundation and the Prince of Peace Children's Home, stated, "Although the pandemic has passed, the damage and depression caused by it still linger in many people's hearts. Through the positive power of the concert, we aim to help people emerge from the shadows and step into the sunlight. At the same time, all proceeds from the concert will be donated to assist disabled orphans, allowing children in need to regain a new lease on life."

As an Ambassador for the Prince of Peace Children's Home, world-famous tennis player Mr. Michael Chang flew from Southern California to the San Francisco Bay Area to support this fundraising event. Having personally visited the Prince of Peace Children's Home in Tianjin, he remarked, "Many people believe that it's only natural for children to receive education, but many disabled children are abandoned, deprived even of their basic rights to survival, let alone education. However, the Prince of Peace Children's Home not only takes in and supports disabled children but also provides them with medical care and assistance, which truly moved me deeply."

In addition to serving as an Ambassador for the Prince of Peace Children's Home, Michael frequently contributes financially to the children's home, hoping to inspire more people to engage in charity work through his efforts.

Kenneth added, "For over 20 years since its establishment, the Prince of Peace Children's Home has meticulously cared for and assisted hundreds of severely disabled children. We have partnered with the World Vision organization to manage the orphanage, providing life skills training to the children with the hope that they can take care of themselves one day. Today, more than 50 children have been adopted by families both domestically and internationally, receiving a new lease on life under the nurturing embrace of love. Through the children's home, we strive to extend love and care to those in need."

POP's Foundation once again expresses gratitude to all sponsors and ticket buyers for their generous support of this concert. The light of charity never ceases, and we welcome people and volunteers worldwide to join in philanthropic efforts. We look forward to the new programs produced by the Showers of Blessing and Ms. Jade Kwan. We also hope compassionate individuals will donate to better care for disabled children.
